Given that, an e-commerce entity, or even an entity claiming to be a marketplace model of e-commerce, is not impune to be held responsible for umpteen sorts of specified violations, the horizon of enforcement has expanded to unfathomable jurisdictions. As the geographical jurisdiction of boundaries has ceased to exist, an e-commerce entity working from the far southern end of India can be served a show cause notice from the extreme north office of legal metrology.
